Chalmers University of Technology

Chalmers University of Technology was founded in 1829 through the will of William Chalmers and is consistently ranked among the top 100 Engineering Universities in the world. Over a third of the students enrolled on our Master’s Programmes are international students. Fee-paying students have numerous scholarship opportunities. Chalmers is a highly research-intensive University. The University focuses on eight main research areas, which include Built Environment, Energy, Information and Communication Technology, Life Science, Materials Science, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Production and Transport. Europe’s biggest ever research initiative, the Graphene Flagship with a budget of 1 billion Euro, is coordinated from the university.
