General Entry Requirements

Bachelor's Level Requirements

  • have successfully completed their upper secondary (high school) education
  • demonstrate proficiency in English. The entry requirement for studies at the bachelor's level in Sweden is the equivalent of the Swedish upper secondary course English 6/English B

For students who received their final school grades after 31 December 2009, there is an additional entry requirement for mathematics as follows:

  • The student must have successfully completed courses in mathematics to reach the level of the Swedish courses Mathematics 1a, 1b or 1c / Mathematics A (approximately 10 years of mathematics studies).

Upper secondary (high school) studies completed in Turkey, students need to demonstrate  proficiency in English language through an internationally approved English test;

  • IELTS: 6.5 and no section below 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT (TOEFL ITP is not accepted)

               Paper-based: 4.5 (scale 1-6) in written test, total score of 575

               Internet-based 20 (scale 0-30) in written test, total score of 90

For Turkish Students; previous studies that meet the general entry requirements and any documentation requirements:

  • Secondary School Certificate (Devlet Lise Diplomasi / Meslek Lise Diplomasi) and final school grades transcript.

 

Master's Level Requirement

  • have been awarded a Bachelor's degree from an internationally recognised university 
  • be able to demonstrate proficiency in English:  
  •   IELTS: 6.5 and no section below 5
  •   TOEFL iBT (TOEFL ITP is not accepted)

    Paper-based:  575

    Internet-based90

 

 If bachelor program is taught %100 in English and it is clearly stated at your trancript, you are not required to take TOEF/IELTS examinations. Education has to be taken in the last 10 years in order to be exempted. 

 

Specific Entry Requirements

Most courses and study programmes have specific entry requirements in addition to the general requirements listed above. These are often linked to the area of study of the course or programme. Please contact for further information or document assessment.
